Q3 review.
July – September 2026Leadership teamPrepared 3 October 2026
Our best quarter yet, and it wasn't close.
Every month of Q3 beat the one before.
September was our first million-dollar month, helped by cold brew retail and the three new cafés.
Three products made up 41% of revenue.
Oat flat white
Cold brew bottles
Cardamom bun
In their words.
The new Harbor café is the only place downtown where I can get a seat and a proper flat white before 8.
The cold brew bottles have replaced my morning drive-through.
Order-ahead finally works. Ready when I walk in, every time.
Three misses we're owning.
Seasonal menu launched late
The autumn drinks arrived 3 weeks after competitors'. We missed most of the early-September demand.
Weekend wait times at Elm St
Average wait hit 11 minutes on Saturdays. Two-thirds of the bad reviews this quarter came from one café.
Subscription box didn't land
1,100 sign-ups against a goal of 3,000, and churn of 22% in month two. Pricing and cadence need a rethink.
Three things we'll do in Q4.
- 1
Launch the holiday menu on 1 November
Two weeks ahead of the market, with three drinks and two pastries. Goal: $180k in seasonal sales.
- 2
Get cold brew into 120 grocery stores
Two new chains are signed, plus a 1L family size. Goal: $520k in retail revenue.
- 3
Cut weekend waits at Elm St to under 5 minutes
A second espresso bar and a dedicated order-ahead pickup shelf by mid-October.
Thank you.
